I am currently based in Vietnam, where PSA, a leading global port operator driving both port and logistics services has established a strong and growing presence since 2009. I play a key role in supporting one of PSA’s strategic investments in the country, where my responsibilities include shaping commercial strategy, driving operational performance, ensuring robust safety management and steering investment initiatives. WHAT MADE YOU PURSUE A CAREER IN THIS INDUSTRY?
Strategically located along the Straits of Malacca, Singapore sits at a cornerstone of global trade, serving as a vital hub for cargo movement and international commerce. The maritime industry plays a pivotal role in Singapore’s economic development and within this sector, PSA is an industry leader with a presence in over 45 countries. When I was considering my career options as a university student, I felt that its expansive footprint would offer exceptional opportunities for international exposure, professional growth and meaningful contributions to Singapore’s continued advancement in maritime and logistics. After graduation, I applied to PSA and never looked back.
